ITsavvy is looking for a subject matter expert for deploying Windows on company and client PCs. The Windows Deployment Engineer will configure, deploy, and handle administration for MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit). This individual will support and provide consultation for large enterprise clients in the area of Windows OS deployment, systems management, and patching. In particular, the ideal candidate will have experience in common deployment solutions such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Microsoft SCCM.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will handle the configuration, deployment, administration, and training for MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).
Provide support and consultation for large enterprise clients in the area of Windows OS deployment, systems management, and patching.
Troubleshoot and resolve imaging issues.
Create a flowchart for troubleshooting and identifying the issue and set standard operating procedures.
Handle implementation of the InTune toolset including administration, design strategy, and user permissions.
Work with IT teams on a single solution that integrates InTune, MS MDT, and additional enterprise tools.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
A+ Certification preferred.
Microsoft SCCM and/or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) required.
Two years of experience in hardware repair or related roles preferred.
Experience using Windows 7 through Windows 11.
Experience using Active Directory is a plus.
Experience and understanding of Auto Pilot and Intune is a plus.
Must have experience working with ticketing software and or/CRM system.
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use complex math.
Must have troubleshooting experience and be able to operate with minimal supervision.
Experience with Unicast and Multicast is preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate ITsavvy’s value proposition and suite of offerings.
