ITsavvy is looking for a Presales Solution Architect located in the Central Ohio area with a strong focus on network technologies. Our ideal candidate will perform a network assessment, design a solution and present the solution to the client.

Solution Architect Job Responsibilities
Perform on-site and offsite discovery meetings in order to uncover business and technology goals, constraints, pain-points and strategy.
Perform a presales assessment of the current network environment with a focus on Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security.
Document the findings from the assessment in an understandable format using Visio, PowerPoint, Word and other tools
Works with Clients and Client Executives to help create technology roadmaps/strategies
Assemble a solution that meets the determined objectives and falls within the client’s financial capabilities. Utilize available tools to diagram in understandable format.
Create a Build of Material (BOM) to provide to Account Managers.
Collaborate with Account Managers on questions and strategies for presentation to client.
Assemble a Proposal to present to the client.
Document work in ITsavvy corporate systems
Attend Trainings and Workshops to enhance knowledge of vendor solutions
Attain certifications to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in technologies
Assist in solution validation with peers
Solution Architect Qualifications and Skills
Excellent oral and written skills
Problem solving skills
Very high attention to detail
Ability to perform on-site and virtual assessments in Ohio area
Strong knowledge of network architecture, OSI model
Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LCAP, STP, RADIUS, Loop Protection, Stacking, Static and Dynamic Routing, encryption and certificates
Strong understanding of wireless standards and protocols
Experience performing wireless surveys
Strong understanding of ethernet, including category 5-7 cabling related connectors
Strong understanding of optical networking including Single mode, Multimode and related connectors
General knowledge of Windows Server (2003-2019) and Group Policy
Knowledge of Aruba Clearpass preferred
Ability to work in a in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Ability to be productive in a work from home role
Ability to perform job functions and maintain high motivation under indirect supervision
Solution Architect Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, a related technical degree or equivalent
5 years of experience working with Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Wireless, Content Filters and other networking technologies
Previous experience working with a Value Added Reseller
Industry Certification in Networking(Cisco, Aruba, Extreme, Meraki, )
Industry Certification in Wireless (Cisco, Aruba, Extreme, Aerohive, Meraki)
Industry Certification in Security (Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Palo Alto, SonicWALL)
