The position of Systems Engineer – Advanced Solutions Group is a technical position that supports our clients either remotely from our local office locations or onsite at the client’s location.

This role must be able to support complex IP networks and switching environments, as well as intricate system projects from design inception to delivery. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following technologies:

What You’ll do at ITsavvy

  • Installing, configuring, and validating networking, wireless and security solutions
  • Assist Solution Architects with Scope of Work creation
  • Developing and maintaining processes and procedures to help streamline the functions for our Internal teams and clients.
  • Developing reports to show the value we bring to our clients in the form of work done, health of equipment, etc.
  • Performing onsite and remote assessments to gather all information required to determine client needs for solutions.
  • Identifying process improvements to help streamline and automate common tasks.
  • Attending events and trainings to achieve certifications and stay current with technology and industry knowledge.

Senior Network Engineer Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of similar experience required.
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass, Mobility Solutions and Switching required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or a related degree, or equivalent education and work experience required.
  • Switching and Routing: Cisco, HPE/Aruba certification required
  • Networking certification is required; CCNP or other ACMP/ACMA certification required, Nexus a plus.
  • IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, Spam filtering, content filtering experience is required.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Radius, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN is required.
  • MS office applications and MS Visio are required.
  • Must have experience with the following solutions: Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Airwave, Cisco ISE, Extreme Networks Switching and Wireless, Juniper Networking, Cisco ASA with Firepower, Sophos Firewall and End Point Protection, SonicWall Firewall, Fortinet Solutions, Wireless Aruba, Cisco/Meraki, Extreme/Aerohive, and Ekahau
