Job Description

ITsavvy has an industry-leading team of sales and engineering talent assembled to provide end-to-end solutions for our customers. We are looking for a Configuration Lab Manager to add to our talent pool. We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about helping clients use technology to improve and expand their organizations.

The ideal candidate has experience configuring desktops, laptops, and servers with a special talent for working in a fast-paced and client-focused environment. We’re looking for an individual that is up-to-date on the latest hardware and system deployment technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage daily activities of configuration lab employees to ensure daily configuration/deployment goals are met based on Client SLA.
  • Manage inventory to ensure system configuration demands are met without inventory losses.
  • Ensure technicians meet daily and weekly configuration goals.
  • Work with internal and external clients on projects and provide guidance on what services the config lab has to offer.
  • Work with clients to develop new configuration offerings.
  • Effective CAPA Process management while relying on required RCA skills.


  • 5 years managing a PC/MAC/Chromebook computer repair and/or production facility.
  • Strong Process documentation skills.
  • Metric development and implementation skills.
  • 3-5 years PC/MAC/Chromebook repair/troubleshooting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with PC/Mac/Chromebook hardware and software implementations.
  • Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN systems.
  • Experience working with internal and external customers to design and implement solutions. that meet the customer’s needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills.
