Computer Hardware Repair Tech Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware & software issues in Chrome and Windows environments
  • Replacement of LCDs, keyboards, motherboards, and system components
  • Document resolution steps and parts consumption in ticket software
  • Manage paperwork trail for warranty claim process
  • Device teardown including parts testing and asset disposition
  • Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
  • Assist in the enrollment and rollout of new client devices

Computer Hardware Repair Tech Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • A+ Certification preferred
  • Complete additional training to advance career as requested
  • Experience using Autotask Professional Services Automation Tool preferred
