ADDISON, Ill.—ITsavvy was just awarded a national PEPPM technology purchasing cooperative contract to supply Compulocks brands to school districts, colleges, universities, libraries and local government. Together, the two companies offer deep experience in IT products and solutions–with specific expertise in security hardware and kiosk technologies.
ITsavvy’s PEPPM contract numbers are: Pennsylvania 528261-011 and California 528297-004 for locks and enclosures for computers and tablets. It is not available for E-Rate purchases.
ITsavvy President and CEO Mike Theriault said, “We continue to build our presence in the public sector with this PEPPM contract and are eager to introduce ITsavvy to PEPPM purchasers across the U.S. This partnership with Compulocks adds another layer to our capabilities.”
This is ITsavvy’s first PEPPM contract. It enables the company to bring Compulocks security products to public sector purchasers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
Regional Sales Director for Compulocks Brands Daniel Stendardo said, “We are very pleased to be working with ITsavvy, one of our premier partners in this space. Together we deliver industry-leading physical security solutions to K-12 schools, universities, libraries and government agencies looking to fully leverage their technology budgets.”
Compulocks Brands, Inc., headquartered in Huntington Beach, Calif., is the premier designer and manufacturer for security and display solutions worldwide; offering the widest range of lockable tablet enclosures, kiosks, stands, vehicle mounts and a full line of Mac and PC locks. The company has been awarded a number of patents in the field of hardware security. Since 1986, they’ve been working with customers and partners to solve their security requirements using innovation, the highest quality of materials and unbeatable customer support. Compulocks products are used in corporate, retail, commercial and educational applications as well as state and national government agencies.
ITsavvy’s Senior Director of Sales, Public Sector Brian Fields said, “For our first PEPPM contract, we wanted to offer a product line that would deliver security, efficiency and cost-benefits to school districts, colleges, universities, libraries and local governments. Compulocks was a logical choice for us and a unique brand that has not been available, until now, to these institutions.”
The contract allows public agencies to use favorable pricing and terms for IT products based on competitive, sealed bids solicited by PEPPM. Eligible purchasers may include public school districts, area vocational technical schools, state-approved private schools, public libraries, non-public schools, some special districts, state-approved charter schools and community colleges. In addition, PEPPM services are available to local, county and municipal governments as well as non-profit agencies.
PEPPM conducts competitive sealed bids according to state statutes in Pennsylvania and California. In Pennsylvania, the awarding educational agency is Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU). In California, the awarding educational agency is Kern County Superintendent of Schools. However, PEPPM services are available nationwide, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
