ITsavvy and HPE’s Aruba to Host Mobility Webinar
August 12, 2016
ADDISON, Ill. — ITsavvy, one of the fastest growing mobility solution providers in the U.S., and HPE’s Aruba just announced a webinar on Mobility in a Digital Workplace. The webinar will lay the foundation for adapting, rather than resisting, the emergence of mobility in the workplace. Participants will learn how to incorporate the latest hardware and software tools for a secure, blended wired/wireless infrastructure that meets the requirements of IT staff management as well as the needs of users.
The no-cost webinar, How to Improve Mobility in a Digital Workplace, will air on Thursday, Aug. 25, from 1:15-2:15 Central Time. It will be hosted by wireless experts Bob Reisdorf, ITsavvy’s Senior Director, Solutions Architecture; and Mike Léger, SE Manager at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company. Reisdorf is a certified networking, security and VoIP expert with a specialization in wireless technologies. Léger leads a team of Aruba’s pre-sales engineers and provides technical leadership and guidance on networking technologies.
Specific learning objectives include:
- How to adapt a network for specific user behaviors
- How to reduce costs with a mobile work environment
- How to integrate wireless software into existing infrastructure
“American productivity is stunted,” Reisdorf said. He went on to cite a Wall Street Journal article, Sputtering Worker Productivity Vexes Economy by Eric Morath. “The article states: The trend could also reflect lackluster capital investments showing that businesses aren’t providing workers the equipment necessary to be more productive. State-of-the-art wireless technologies can improve workplace efficiencies and collaboration, which in turn can significantly impact productivity.”
New research by Aruba reveals that organizations are facing multiple challenges in supporting the digital workplace. These include migrating away from legacy networks that do not meet the demands of mobility, and delivering a mobile-first network that considers the security threats of BYOD and headless IoT devices. However, the report suggests organizations that move to the digital workplace faster than their competitors will recognize substantial benefits. They also will deliver tangible advantages back to their organizations in terms of lowered operational and capital expense, and improved employee and customer experiences.
